Great insight, Tim! It definitely makes sense to write on more platforms and especially to build an email list.

I think for beginner writers starting with one, max. two platforms and trying to master them is enough, though. Otherwise, they might spread themselves too thin. However, once you see growth, you should definitely think about expanding. Btw, hope your friend managed to find a way how to keep his business alive.

Interesting article, Robert! I think it's key to define what success means for us personally to become happier and more focused. For me, the turning point was when I could make a clear distinction between the success I was chasing due to societal pressure and the success I really wanted for myself.

The Identity change is such an interesting concept, Nir. Using language in smart ways to label who you are and what behaviours are reflecting that is so powerful. Even more when we talk about it with others.

I realized I used to stop myself from talking about being a writer in front of others, just because I still didn't feel like one. My behaviours didn't reflect that I was a writer (e.g. lack of consistency). Now that I say it out loud, it gets easier to actually put in the work.
